my midterm got pushed back because of the war and i am still procrastinating. i'm going through a sell-fest to help pay for a luxury item. yesterday was such a beautiful day, we went to the park for a picnic and let the kids play. hopefully the rest of the week is as beautiful. i did manage to avoid most of the war coverage on tv which hopefully reduced some of my stress.

watched to catch a thief and 8 mile over the weekend. i really should have been born during that era. grace kelly was stunning and so was the cinematography. and in stark constrast, 8 mile was pretty good.

and the war goes on. it's only been 6 days but it already seems like several weeks have gone by. the "real-time" reporting distorted my perception of the length of the war.

i'm about a fourth done with my todo list. but i got alot done today and didn't get sucked into the war coverage, too much. i ran into a sleep problem with my powerbook but it got resolved after a call to applecare. hopefully, i won't have to call them but i'm glad i shelled out the extra dough for it. change is good.

Game Boy Advance SP
Hand-held gaming keeps getting cooler. The ultra-slim Game Boy Advance SP features a revolutionary Front Light Screen for great gameplay under any lighting condition. The rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers about 10 hours of gameplay and takes only three hours to recharge.

it is simply amazing. goes with the powerbook too. 8)

What makes writing important? I write to preserve the moment. Through time, my memory becomes worse and my blog helps me to recall the past.

ebay

I'm selling off clutter in my garage at ebay. So far, I made about 35 bucks minus auction and listing fees. I've listed items in Amazon but they're not showing up in my store.

productive day

while it was a rocky start, today was productive. ethan was still feeling the ill effects of the stomach flu last week and ran a high fever early this morning. he went to the hospital again but came back within a couple of hours good as new, like nothing happened.

contested a credit card bill and started the process to get my treo fixed, all within a half hour period. got some books and possibly a topic for my midterm, and also completed my homework assignment. got home from school, received two checks. long awaited rebate check (almost over a year) and an unexpected dividend check. sweet.
